The ACCC and Exclusive Dealing
The ACCC allows any dealer workshop or non-dealer workshop, like Mechanix Plus, to undertake manufacturers’ logbook servicing. A manufacturer cannot void an owner’s warranty if the vehicle service was undertaken in accordance with the manufacturers’ requirements, using genuine parts, and was undertaken by qualified staff.
